Things you can't do while pregnant...

Ride a roller coaster
eat sushi
change the cat litter pan
lift heavy objects
and apparently watch the last half hour of Field of Dreams.

People will cry Ray, people will most definetely cry.

After finding out Lost was a Hurley centric re-run that I simply could not watch again because, well, I despise Hurley, we flipped through the channels and found Field of Dreams on WGN. I was of course totally intrigued bc I just mentioned the movie two blog posts ago. So we tuned in. Big mistake.

I may have never cried like that ever before. I did not stop from the moment Archie "Moonlight" Graham stepped off the field to save Karen from the hot dog until the final credit where the movie is dedicated to "Our Parents" Seriously, I wept. Full body racking sobs that at one point were cracking my own back. There was no stopping this fully hormonal onset of insanity.

I'm no fool, I have very carefully avoided the following movies since becoming pregnant:
Terms of Endearment
Steel Magnolias
Last of the Mohicans
The English Patient
Ghost
Life is Beautiful
Legends of the Fall
even Homeward Bound.

But Field of Dreams? I knew I'd probably cry, but like somebody died? Woo,that took me by surprise.

Sob,sob sob, "This is my-this is John." sob sob sob weep weep sniffle sob sob

Ha. You think it's bad now. Wait until after you have the baby. You'll find something about that Sven commercial that will make you cry. And forget Extreme Home Makeover. I think Ty Pennington is the biggest tool in the world, but I can't sit through a round of "Move That Bus" without turning into a blithering idiot.

Blubbering. I think I meant "blubbering idiot." Although the blithering part is also probably true.

P.S. This is the methamphetamines again. I'm on a commenting jag. And I can't stop. Like Jessie Spano (I'm so excited, I'm so...scared!)

Dying laughing, Spano. You kill me. I wondered in an early comment what the point count is for methamphetamines- BUT I realize now that they probably wind up being free points swapped out by activity points- activity induced by meth.
