Ali, Raquel, Jaillene, Me, DanaSo while I was trying to decide which picture of J-bird to use- I came across this photo and realized something interesting. Ranking everyone by their tan and where they were raised, begininng with the darkest tan:
Me: Chicago suburbs
Ali: Ohio
Raquel: Virginia
Jaillene: Atlanta's north suburbs
Dana: Atlanta's south suburbs
So it appears that the further south you were raised the more fair you tend to be. Did they hand out parasols in high school? Geez, I feel like some rough Yankee farm hand now.

Hmm, I am pretty fair now, despite being raised in Connecticut. However when I lived there and essentially was a Yankee farmhand I guess I was tan. And not a pretty, I laid on the beach tan either. Farm tans end at the ankle and the upper arm. So yuck.
