Les Miserables -- The Final Act

Why did I just say that- a gypsy's wish if there ever was one! Well- my fever broke sometime Saturday night, sweeping my headache away with it as well. I'm not 100% but I'm on the mend for sure! VBS is a blessed relief, apparently even fake smiling and laughing releases yummy endorphins.
I'm having a little trouble eating, nausea abounds for at least 20 minutes after doing so, but I think that's just a late pregnancy thing. 8 days ago I bet Kris that I would have the baby in 10 days (by the 25th) (Sara Calvin- is your wedding anniversary 6/25?) and I'm beginning to think it might happen- WHAT? I know, but I do.
I went to the Dr. on Friday said that with such a "very, very large" baby he is not excited about me having a vaginal delivery. He thinks the baby and I will be better off with a ceasarean, he's worried about trying out my first baby - who is large- on my unproved untested birth canal.
Soooooo this Friday my doctor will check me and see if I'm dialating and if the baby's head has descended far enough into my pelvis- if it has he'll induce me a few days after. But if not, we do have a c-section he'll schedule on Friday.
I'm currently working on a series of photo essays to keep you entertained if I can't blog about anything besides anxiety.

So exciting that you are so close! And I am glad to hear that you are feeling better than you were. If you feel up to it--walk a lot. Supposedly that helps the baby move down and into position in the birth canal. Worked for me anyway--went on a hike (or really a waddle) then went into labor.

Steph!!! So glad that you are feeling better. Yah! And so exciting that you are so close to being on the other side of all of this. I can't wait till you start posting pictures of your adorable little baby boy. SO exciting! Yes, isn't Aunt Jodi the greatest? We both love your blog!

dude -- go for the c-section. inducing and labor pains SUCK, even with the epidural. I so much preferred the ease and non pain of scheduled c-section. Either way -- good luck!!!
