Whoa, I mean whoa..

Look at that perfectly rounded cranium!

So everything went really well yesterday- better than I could have imagined. Even getting bumped turned out to be a blessing- we really probably needed to have more time to get used to the idea that this little guy was on his way. Especially not knowing how fast everything would get going once it did. It was about 4 minutes from the time they wheeled me into the operating room to being flat on my back with absolutely no feeling and Kris being escorted in, then 20 minutes later he was born! Nuts!

Ben is ridiculously adorable. He's less alert today- very sleepy, but he opens his eyes and looks right at you. He's so sweet, he really only cries when you change him- someone hates being a nudie pooch. And he's strong, when he lays on my chest he can push up and turn his head from side to side until he settles into where he wants to be. And he has this perfectly round head! Oh! He's so sweet!!!! I am totally in love! I can't believe he's here- it's so unreal. A few more pictures from today. We need to take more but we've all been pretty whooped.
