It's so on.

7:30 a.m. Monday Morning. Be there. You'll pay for the whole seat but only use the edge.

Not really, you can't come. I'd like to invite you but the sheet says I can only bring one person into the operating room. So Kris will have to tell you all about it.
Or not. Whatever you decide.
So Ben and I have made no progress towards this birthing thing, so we're going the shortcut route. Pretty typical around here, so he'll be used to how we do things. At my appt. this morning Dr. Smith informed us that my pre-op appointment was in an hour at the hospital. So we went to Best Buy and bought a new camera and went over. It was long and not that informative. So that's that.
Who is so glad she never spent the $75 and 8 hours on the child birth class, what what? ME.
Let's now compare and contrast my original birth plan with the one I'm likely to have on Monday- Green means it's still valid, Red means totally unnecessary worry.

Watch Kris enter the times and length of contractions into an Excel Spreadsheet while I lay on the kitchen floor on bags of ice like UGA.
Get into the Expedition (this will take effort, I might need a ramp)
Turn on the cooled seats.
Hope to tell the difference between the cooling seats and urinating on oneself.
Guide my directionally challenged husband to the hospital/ allow navigation system to do the talking. He figured it out!
Arrive at the hospital- use valet parking.
Glide to room in wheelchair

Affix robe to ensure last vestiges of modesty. Apply last coat of Bare Minerals.
Wildly exaggerate pain as to entice doctors to give me Demerol regardless of how dilated I am
In a Demerol fog, use visualization techniques to prod cervix into dilating

Receive epidural
Quit. (To include: crying and screaming and irrational behavior regarding pushing so as to receive C-section) Do no underestimate my awesome quitting powers- I am not a fourth quarter player.
Get more epidural for C-Section

Get C- Section
Hold Baby Ben.
Nap.

So as you can see I've had this pretty well planned out for awhile now. The thing I'm most disappointed about is that I have to report to the hospital at 5:30 a.m. which means getting my hair blown out at the salon or by a professional in my home is now totally out of the question.

Steeler Mom is on her way, and I still have a lot to do here, but I spent 3 hours catching up on The Office, so I feel like I'm getting there.

Hi guys,
Wow, I can't believe it's already almost time for me to become weird uncle Jeremy!
I also can't believe that I will be in South Africa still when you bring baby Ben home. Do you guys happen to have Skype or some such thing?
