Excuse the banana stains, we just ate
Here's Ben and a morning photo shoot, presented here in unadulterated order, watch as he warms up to the camera, attacks his mother and then is over it.

Say hello to our new little friend...
Yes, we got another dog. He only had 36 hours left to live and someone had cruelly docked his tail and I couldn't bear that this little thing would only have known cruelty in his short life, so I convinced Kris to let me take him home. He's so sweet and so mellow, a total opposite of Brody's puppyhood. So whoever had him docked his tail and neutered him at a very young age, which makes us all suspect that he was going to be used as a bait dog for training pit bulls to fight. It's just too sad to think about. He's desperate for love and cuddles, during his short stay at animal control (they only have 5 days before they are either rescued or put down) he was comforted by the Great Dane in the cage next to him, who would lick him through the cage. Sigh. But he's got a great life now, he's learning the ropes- only one accident in the house so far- I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to let him out- he has learned to "sit" and he loves to chase after dragonflies and butterflies in the backyard. He came with the name Toby and we're going to keep it we think it will help us stop calling Brody, Brady. I just adore my new fella!
Brody putsToby in his place
This video is also useful because it illustrates that Kris is secretly an old Italian man. He wears black dress socks all the time, even with his lawn mowing outfit. On Saturday he even came downstairs wearing an undershirt and the bottom half of his suit. Who's the deigo now?

Aunt Merbear
One of my best friends from high school came to Savannah last week! Her fiance was playing in a golf tournament just down the road and Meredith and I got to go shopping and have lunch and shop and walk around Savanah. We met up with the guys later for dinner, and I totally made an ass out of myself.
Not possible, right?
Wrong.
We were trying to decide where to go dinner, and to a former professional golfer I say:
S:Oh, we could go to Sam Snead's - wait- you know who Sam Snead is right?
Mer: laughing hysterically- STEPHANIE! Of course I know who Sam Snead is!!!!
I'm a moron, it was funny but I'm still stupid.
We had a great time, and Ben adored Mer in a way I've never really seen him react to anyone, he has a big crush. Mer is so fantastic with kids, I was in totally awe of my already very accomplished friend.

Little Man Chase rides into town!
Last week was such a great week, it was super busy with the tour of homes, I did flower arrangements, hosted two luncheons at the Lady and Sons and worked in the ticket office; a pageant and making sure we got to see The Little Man Chase!!!
Chase and Christina blew into town and we had a great time. I got to see them almost every single day and I just can't wait for them to come back in May. Hint Christina- it could be like that ALL THE TIME! (move here move here move here)
Here are some photos, we took the boys to the beach on Monday, where we had a serious Tippi Hedren moment, tip- the seagulls will not be happy with just one goldfish.
We got to eat at Tubby's, we did the tour of Friday- found an AMAZING house, that smelled even better and went to dinner at Garibaldi's -phenomenal- and definetely where I'm having an anniversary party soon.
OK back to pics.
