We kept Ben's third birthday a very low key affiar with a last minute birthday party with Ben's neighborhood friends. Trains, sprinklers and cake! Nearly free and so much fun!
The scene is set.
So. This is the Thomas cake I've been begging for.
This was a disaster averted (hard to believe). As I took the cake into the kitchen it slipped off the cake platter and was caught mid air due to the quick thinking and hands of myself, Lauren Schimmel and Katie Beaumont.
After turning on the sprinkler system on the kids some changed into jammies to keep the party going.
Everybody's gone. Time for the present wagon!
