Ben has added so many new skills in the last 4 weeks!
He can sit up totally and easily by himself.
He started crawling.
He started crawling really well.
He started crawling really fast.
He can sit up from lying down on his own.
He can kneel and hold onto something.
He can kneel without holding on to anything.
He started to pull up and before I could blog about it he started pulling up to standing.
We thought we were all figured out for naps and everything was clicking along perfectly and now he can suddenly stand in his crib, which changes everything. Today he was standing up and refused to lay down, I'd lay him down, he'd crawl over and stand up- Repeat for half an hour. I finally just left him (I went across the hall to my room) and then he got upset because he couldn't figure out how to get down. I think this can be avoided if Daddy moves the crib down again. We're supposed to do that right?
Ben makes all kinds of crazy noises, hisses, growls and shrieks.
He's still totally in love with the cat and dog. He sucks all of his fingers in varying combinations of cuteness. He's ticklish and giggles like a crazy man. He also thinks that when we throw his blocks in the air it's the most hilarious thing he's ever seen. Admittedly, he hasn't seen much, although he has seen The Tool Academy, soooooo there's that.
He's doing actual jumping in the Johnny Jump Up now, instead of that weird saggy sway.
Lastly we think he's deciding to wave, right now he just extends his arm and turns his hand up. It's so adorable. Ben is so friendly it's ridiculous. He has yet to meet a stranger, last night he let Bishop Obaikol just walk him all over the room and he never missed a beat. I can hand that baby to anyone! He doesn't complain or cry, unless he wants something, basically just to eat, but his cues are so easy to read this doesn't happen too often. He's the most easy going person I've met in my whole life. And he's a lot of fun, no matter how many toys I give him his favorites are empty boxes and water bottles. He's also terribly patient with me, I guess this all means that he's personality-wise just like his dad. I love that he throws these grown up expressions, he's my baby Zoolander. Ok that's enough bragging.

I can't wait! That is definitely a wave! He has such a patient, long-suffering expression, like-"I have done this a billion times, but if you want to take a picture, go ahead!"
