It's been, like, a decade.

I was flipping through our DVR list this morning looking for some Hi-5 or Backyardigans since Noggin seems to believe that anyone could possibly want to watch Pinky Dinky Doo and I came across several DVR'd hours of the 80's music channel and I burst out laughing. On one hand I would say that it's kind of pathetic that this is what our lives have come to, instead of a real live honky tonk we have to create our own dance party in our living room and we DVR it because in order to fully appreciate Lionel Ritchie's Dancing on the Ceiling it needs to be played twice. But you know what- we've been like this for years, some of you may remember Dance Party USA, May 15, 2003 when we may have drunk dialed you and reminded you to save the date for our wedding a year from then. Did we mention we were sorry? Anyway, scanning the DVR list just reminded me of how much I love Kristopher and how much fun we've had together for the last ten years. So in honor of that and with apologies to Eric Church, I've reworked a song for him.

You can watch the video and read along with the words. Or don't, whatevs. This one's for the hubs.

I love sleepin in on Saturdays
And I love college football games
I love pullin out my grays
And good jazzercise

Yeah, I’m a fan of Flannery Connor books
And anything Greg Malley cooks
Chicago Bears have got me hooked on Sunday afternoons

Yes I love good cold beer
And by that I mean Bud Ice
I love a good loud honky tonk
It rocks on Friday nights

And hell yes I love my truck
But I want you to know
Honey, I love your love the most

Man, I love how Marlboros taste
Damn, I love the USA
Any show on Bravo TV
Is television at its best

And yes I love good cold beer
And by that I mean High Life
I love living room dance parties
That rock out Friday nights

Hell yes, I love the lake but I want you to know
Honey, I love your love the most

I love seersucker, monograms
And anything pink and green
A good tailgate and JoePa
and pistachio ice cream
Hell yes, I love my dogs
And SoCo in Diet Coke

But honey I love your love
Yeah I love your love

I love your love the most
